Vocabulary Quiz #1 (tone words)
Homework - Study Words 1-30 and make flashcards. Ten points will be given to students who prepare flashcards.
Tuesday
Check flashcards.
audio (Listen to "The Most Dangerous Game") Complete a literary review as you listen to the story.
Wednesday
discussion ("The Most Dangerous Game")
Homework - Review the eight parts of speech.
Thursday

Homework - Read "The Scarlet Ibis", and complete a literary review.
Friday
discussion ("The Scarlet Ibis")
Homework - Review the eight parts of speech; there will be a quiz/test on Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
Reminders
The second summer read assignment is due on September 16, 2010.
Remember, the literary reviews should be completed on the day that the story is assigned. Please bring them to class.
